Foil Print Wedding Invitations

Foiled designs and patterns on wedding invitations have been a mainstay printing technique for wedding stationery for decades.  The medium is perfect for wedding invitations because gold and silver are popular wedding colours that only look natural when incorporated in wafer thin metal foil.  Foiling is applied through the use of special machine that forces a hot impression plate on to a sheet of foil to make a perfect replica of the design on the card.  Any design can be pressed on to the card but hearts in gold or silver are a very popular choice for a wedding invite.

Some of our designs incorporate personalised foiling which adds a new dimension to this techique.  Gold or Silver personalised wording can be applied to our Chocolate, Vanilla, White Wedding, Positano and Wedding Pearls design.  For these designs we send you a proof of your wording in the normal way and give you the option to make any changes you require.  When you have approved the proof a special plate is made up to hot foil impress your invitation wording on to card.  The result is very special and these designs are no more expensive than many similar traditional ink printed alternatives.  Foiling is not just limited to gold and silver.  Our Capri design uses black foil personalistion and clear foiling is used to highlight subtle details on other designs throughout our collections.
